Das Racist and Sled Island Lineup

You might know Das Racist from the ridiculous song Combination Pizza Hut and Taco Bell, but guess what...they have a song that is good. I couldn't believe it was the same group but Das Racist has got a good one called You Oughta Know. I have listened to it a count of six times in the last 30 min so who knows how many by the end of the weekend. It's good, check it out.
Also Calgary's biggest independent music fest Sled Island, released a good portion of it's line up yesterday. So far I am most excited about Girl Talk, I have wanted to see him live ever since I saw the documentary Rip: A Remix Manifesto (cool Documentary about mashups and copyright stuff).
I know Jaybone will be pumped to see Deerhoof on the bill. Jumping from show to show around d-town Calgs sounds like it will be a fantastic time. The Sled Island people are going to announce the rest of the lineup May 1st(Sled Island's Facebook group says there is still some big names to come!).
As a side note I sent off an email to the people that be at Sasquatch to see if they would hook up Caspers Not Dead with a press pass to get behind the scenes. Probably not gonna happen but I thought I would give it a shot, so everyone think positive!
